Composer - Producer - Designer - Engineer

Hi, I’m Graham - a composer, producer, sound designer, and engineer based in the Central Coast of California. I work across music, film, radio, and theater, helping people bring their ideas to life through sound.

I received my B.A. in Film and Media Studies (with a minor in music) from UC Santa Barbara, and earned my M.A. in Music Production from Berklee College of Music. Most of my early adult life was spent on the road as a touring musician, which taught me a lot about collaboration, improvisation, and how to sleep sitting up.

These days, I split my time between composing original music, producing records, designing immersive sound for screen and stage, and running Surprise Studio, a space I built in 2021. I also teach private lessons in performance and production, and still play in a few bands.

Whether it’s a podcast, a short film, a live show, or a full album, I try to keep the process focused, fun, and rooted in good storytelling.
